Singing Shitpost Or Video? My Hilarious Creation!
Hey guys! Today, Iām super excited (and maybe a little nervous) to share something thatās been brewing in my creative cauldron. Iāve been dabbling in the fine art of⦠well, singing. And I use that term very loosely, haha. Iām at that crossroads where Iām not entirely sure if what Iāve created is a masterpiece of comedic genius, a glorious train wreck, or something in between. So, I figured, what better way to find out than to unleash it upon the world (aka you awesome people)?
The Birth of a āSongā (and Maybe a Meme)
So, how did this whole singing escapade begin? Well, it all started with a random thought, as most of my questionable decisions do. I was humming in the shower (as one does), and I thought, āHey, I wonder what would happen if I actually tried to sing this?ā The result, my friends, was⦠interesting. Letās just say my shower tiles havenāt quite recovered from the sonic vibrations. But the seed was planted. The idea took root in my brain, and I couldnāt shake the urge to actually record something. I mean, why not, right? The internet is a vast and forgiving place (or so I tell myself), and who knows, maybe Iāll accidentally stumble upon the next big hit. Or, more likely, Iāll provide you with a good chuckle. Either way, itās a win-win, yeah?
The Creative Process (or Lack Thereof)
Now, letās talk about the creative process behind this⦠thing. I use the term ācreative processā in the loosest possible sense because honestly, it was more like a chaotic explosion of ideas. I didnāt have a grand plan, a carefully crafted melody, or even a coherent theme. Nope. I just grabbed my phone, hit record, and let whatever came out of my mouth come out. It was pure, unadulterated stream-of-consciousness singing. Think of it as musical improv, but with significantly less talent and a whole lot more⦠noise. I experimented with different vocal styles (mostly unintentionally), ranging from a slightly off-key ballad to what I can only describe as a strangled cat impersonating a dying walrus. There were moments of sheer brilliance (in my humble opinion), and there were moments where I questioned every life choice Iāve ever made. But through it all, I persevered. Because, guys, the world needed to hear this. Or maybe it didnāt, but I made it anyway.
The āLyricsā (If You Can Call Them That)
Ah, the lyrics. Where do I even begin? Letās just say theyāre⦠unique. Theyāre a blend of random thoughts, half-remembered song lyrics, and whatever else was floating around in my brain at the time. Thereās a bit about my love for pizza, a snippet about my hatred for Mondays, and a surprisingly poignant (or maybe just nonsensical) verse about the existential dread of socks disappearing in the laundry. Itās a lyrical masterpiece, I tell you! Okay, maybe not. But theyāre my lyrical masterpiece. And thatās what counts, right? Iām not going to lie; there were times when I looked back at what Iād sung and thought, āWhat on earth was I thinking?ā But then I realized thatās the beauty of it. Itās unfiltered, itās raw, and itās 100% me. Even if āmeā is a slightly deranged individual who sings about socks and pizza.
Shitpost or Video? You Decide!
So, here we are. Iāve created this⦠thing, and now Iām faced with the ultimate question: is it a shitpost, or is it a video? Honestly, Iām not sure. Itās kind of both, and itās kind of neither. Itās a beautiful, chaotic mess of sound and fury, signifying⦠well, maybe not much. But thatās okay! I think. Iām leaning towards labeling it a āshitpostā because it was made with no real intention other than to amuse myself (and hopefully you guys too). But itās also a āvideoā because, well, itās a video. A video of me āsinging.ā So, yeah, itās complicated.
The Beauty of the Shitpost
But letās talk about the beauty of the shitpost for a second. Shitposts are often dismissed as low-effort, nonsensical content, but I think thereās something genuinely special about them. Theyāre a form of creative expression that doesnāt take itself too seriously. Theyāre a way to connect with people through humor and absurdity. And theyāre a reminder that not everything has to be perfect or polished. Sometimes, the best things are the ones that are a little bit rough around the edges. And my āsingingā? Oh, itās very rough around the edges. Itās more like sandpaper than velvet. But thatās what makes it so endearing (I hope!). Itās a testament to the fact that you donāt have to be a professional to create something fun and engaging. You just need a little bit of creativity, a dash of audacity, and a willingness to embrace the chaos. And maybe a good sense of humor.
The Power of Vulnerability
And hereās the thing: putting this out there is actually kind of vulnerable. Iām basically exposing my complete lack of vocal talent to the world. Iām opening myself up to potential ridicule and judgment. But Iām also doing something that scares me, and thatās a good thing. Because growth happens outside of our comfort zones. And who knows, maybe this whole āsingingā thing will lead to something amazing. Maybe Iāll start a band. Maybe Iāll become a viral sensation. Or maybe Iāll just provide you with a good laugh. Whatever happens, Iām glad I did it. Iām glad I embraced the absurdity, and Iām glad I shared it with you guys. Because, at the end of the day, thatās what itās all about: connecting with people, making them smile, and maybe even inspiring them to create their own weird and wonderful things.
So, Without Further Adoā¦
So, without further ado, I present to you my āsinging.ā Iām not going to tell you what to expect because honestly, I donāt even know what to expect. Just go in with an open mind, a sense of humor, and maybe some earplugs (just kidding⦠mostly). I genuinely hope you enjoy it, or at least find it mildly amusing. And if you donāt? Well, thatās okay too. I tried. And thatās what matters. Right? Right.
Let Me Know What You Think!
Seriously, though, let me know what you think! Is it a shitpost? Is it a video? Is it something else entirely? Iām genuinely curious to hear your thoughts. And if youāre feeling brave, maybe youāll even be inspired to create your own āsingingā masterpiece. The world needs more weirdness, guys. So, go out there and make some noise! And thanks for being the awesome, supportive audience that you are. Youāre the best!
